Default How to remove bugs

I tried this after reading about it at the Meguiar's web forum, and I have to tell you, there is no easier way to get bugs off of your car. Simple and easy.

Rinse car

Take a dryer fabric softener sheet (even a used one) wet it, and use it to rub off the bugs. Fold the sheet as you go, to keep the hard bugs you already removed from scratching your paint.

Rinse again.

This works on all surfaces, and will not scratch the finish unless you don't fold it over once it has bugs on it. I think it's the fabic softener in the sheets that does it, and I could not believe how fast, easy, and cheap it is. Beats scrubbing the heck out of your car or buying bug/tar removers. I tried a new and a used sheet, just to see if it would work, and it works like a charm.

There is an easier way. If you take some hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle and spray it on the bugs, they will come right off. Its cheap and just about everyone has some in their bathroom. I like to delute it a little with water just to be safe but ive seen it done with straight H2O2.

Hi `Mark, Matt & contributing Family Member's.
Great tips ~> Thanks for sharing/posting.
If this doesn't get rid of your bug's I suggest
mak'in an appointment with you doctor : )

In Florida, we have a Bug that's called the
Love Bug & they are attracted to roads/highways by exhaust emissions. They can ruin the paint
if left on in the Hot Sun.... They can make a light
colored car/truck totally BLACK with bugs in
the front....I'm glad they only are around twice a year,
but they SUCK big Time...
Oh, Hope your doc can help U What ? lol

i hate when bugs get on the front and wont come off. espec on the windshield and your wipers cant take care of it besides smearing them more. OH gets some big suckers that wont come off easily, im going to have to try this trick and get the rest of em off my bumper
