And i thought my day couldnt get worse today!
my damn heater hose fittings cracked again
i was out with the gf for dinner and on our way there i smell coolant, im like nooooooo fml!! the temp. was getting extremely high, but luckily there was Autozone close by. so there i am for an hour and a half trying to replace em in the parking lot . it sucked cus the engine was HOT!!!!!
also got a 180 degree thermostat on while i was at it

tonight didn't go as planned but it's all good now, hopefully it wont happen anymore

 

howd you fix the bumper? sucks about that cover, looked really nice, how much of that wont wipe off?

 

a little wet sanding and elbow grease, duplicolor touch up paint and clear, then cut and buff

idk, i havent tried to clean it up yet, i'll try to make it pretty again tomorrow

 

Frank: Don't give up that easy. Your doing great work on your Monte. It's just a set back. Your engine cover is one of the nicest ones I've seen on here. Thinking of painting mine Victory red. Then everything else will be white. My two favorite colors. My car is Victory red and the only things on it that are white are the SS emblems on the doors. Man your doing NICE work. Keep it up. Did anyone ever do a V 8 cover yet. I'm working on 2 or 3 designs for mine. Not sure what to go with just yet. I'd like to see any V 8 Engine covers painted if anyone has one or 3 ....Thanks Rick

 

If you want Rick, post up a picture of your engine cover (since I can't find a good one on Google images) and I can Photoshop your designs onto it so you can decide on what you'd like.
