Also got_bot.
Man you can learn to paint pretty easy just takes some time.
start reading on the net to get a idea of how to do it then it is a matter of practice.
but if you can take a class go for it it is well worth it to take the class so you know how to do diffretn things wiht the piant and body work for the effects you want

i got everything pretty flat no runs i really dont have to buff it but i am foing to give it a slight cut with 2000 grit sand paper and just polish it out with 3m compound and give it a good glaze i cant wax it though for a few months

Hunh??? WTF? I think you've been breathing too many paint fumes Mickey. LOL.
I was going to nominate him, but whatever. Someone is bound to nominate him, doesn't really matter who.

As for the stripe color, I think you need to be very careful. You got your Monte looking terrific with a great color choice and pattern. I'd hate to see it accidentally turn into something it's not. I think a red stripe might get too close to looking like RedBull's promo cars. Here's a pic I took while going downhighway 401 between Tilbury and Windsor last fall. It's a custom made Austin Mini customized for the RedBull beverage company (duh).
