fresh paint on the monte!

Default fresh paint on the monte!

well i two toned my monte carlo today i worked on the body last night and painted it all today what do yall think

What are your plans for the bumper/grill?

So far it looks great! Nice color combo.

yeah i did it all my self i am a painter at a body shop for the local ford dealership ( fixing fords keeps me in business lol) the color is a one off that me and my paint supplier sat down and formulated it is really clean looking and has a nice pearl in it. i am going to put it all back together today and will get some more pics up

i learned to paint in high school and fell inlove with painting instantly and got lucky and scored a job at a body shop right out of high school and i have worked there going on five years now. the crazy thing is i am only 22 but i had some of the best in the industry teach me

I too work at a body shop. I do the majority of the painting there. I would have to say painting is the best job you can do in a body shop. For me it is stress relief because you can be in the booth and the paint room all by yourself and you dont have to deal with the boss or any customers. Plus the results are more satisfying than with regular body work. Im a senior in high school right now. I go to votech for collision repair and I will be going to wyotech in the fall. Working during highschool had to be the best way to get a jumpstart on your future career. I love my job now and my boss keeps trying to talk me into staying and working for him instead of going to school but I have to turn him down. Gotta get out there in the real world and get that experiencebefore I think about settling down at one shop. Well its nice to see another bodyman/painter here on the forum. I still cant wait to see that monte out in the sun.
