i originally planned to take the lens apart from the black plastic piece but they appear to be fused together :p at first i though it was just some kind of sealant holding them together and when i tried to pry it off it crack a little on the edge, not noticeable though
i wanted to take it apart so i could spray the nightshades on the back of the lens, therefore i wouldn't have the orange-peel texture on the front how it is now, but it doesn't bother me
I wonder how BBEngineering takes them apart? i'd love to paint the rings around the gauges in red or white

sorry about the crappy (iphone) pic
But here's how it looks during the day, very clear

thats because when i took the original i had the monte parked in the shade and the sun was going down already :p so it looked really dark
and in this pic i was parked directly in the sun so thats why the picture is crappy.

edit: i dont see me selling my monte anytime soon though and plus i've gotten so attached to it haha, all the love i've put into it!!

I did this on a vehicle I had before. It kinda makes it look like individual gauges and believe it or not I was gonna suggest that for your next mod. It's like your reading my mind
