The show car glaze is not ment to dry before removal, you can but you'll be there a lot longer!

Make sure you get the one that is for paint. There is a metal polish one(red) and yellow for paint.
Comes with a really good sample of synthetic liquid wax too (mothers shine fx wax) works nice with a bonnet over too, since its a giant sponge ball it gets EVERYWERE! lol

@ Budsjlm: You also run the risk of grinding in swirls when you let polish dry too!
best trick I've learned; use a little bit of spray detailer to re-wet the polish...easier removal.
