Default Dirt under the rear spoiler

........Here's a little tip and something to be aware of. We wash our
Cars whenever we can but some areas can get neglected ...like Underneath the rear spoiler.........

I removed my rear spoiler yesterday and my suspicions were correct. There was plenty of dirt and polish build up. So after removing the spoiler; I brushed off the loose stuff and then used a wet rag and some cleaner ( Meguires ) and after it was dry; I applied a light coat of polish and then I reinstalled the spoiler. I can only assume that the surf board type of spoilers has a simular procedure.
Just thought I would pass this along to everyone.

I see a bunch of those helicopter bud things always stuck around/under my spoiler also but never tried removing it! I'm guessing there isn't an adhesive also under the spoiler. I hope!

when i hand wash my car, i use the hose to spray under the spoiler and you can see all the dirt that gets stuck under there.

And now you can wash under your spoiler.

well i always spray at an angle on the top of the trunk to try to get up underneath of the spoiler but i'm not sure if that means it's staying clean or not =/

Hey Chris, there is NO ADHESIVE under the spoiler. There are 7 nuts that have to be removed using a 10mm (?) socket. The three in the middle are a little tough to get to. The third brake light bracket has to be removed using a 7mm socket.
Also be sure to disconnect your trunk light. Could run your battery down ?
