No idea Jose. Mickey sold his Monte a couple years ago, and retired from the forum. Traded his 2003 Monte SS for a 2008 Honda Element.

About the Type S wheel cover... Not sure if he was trying to make a connection between Monte Carlo SS and Type S. Or if he just liked the red "S" on the wheel cover.

if your looking for a smooth finish, sand with a 180, shoot an adhesion promoter then follow with a flexible primer made for plastics. sand with a 400 gt then apply paint followed by clear

alright well since i posted this my bro and his wife have been borrowing my car so they could get to work. They just bought a jeep so the montes all mine again! Too bad I'll never get those 20,000 miles back... Anyway im gonna start sanding today and should post some pics tonight

Red, looks nearly identical to the pics posted in.. page 2?, anyways bc im low on paint and oney i ended up doing only the dash, and it came out alot better than i thought it would. So once i get more paint im gonna get the rest of the panels done, i used 140 and 220 grit sand paper, wiped it down with windex, then used 2 coats of krylon fusion red, hit it with windex again... voila! i'll put pics later i dont have a cam at the moment

Who paints interior peices, honestly


Make sure you use some rubbing compound on it.
