Default Cleaning wheels

And yet again, here is another thread lol. This has gotta be some record for how many threads made in a number of time But anyway I think this will be the last one, for now at least okay so when I paint my rotors I am gonna clean the back of my wheels really really really good! But there is some rust looking spot things on the back of them & I was just wondering how to clean that kinda stuff off bcuz i really dont want that showing in the open areas of the wheels. Also what kinda aluminum wheel cleaner do you think is best? Also what kinda cleaner would u use for exhuast tips? So yeah kinda 3 questions in one. Heres are some pics that kinda show what i'm talking bout on the wheel

Sorry that they're kinda bad pics but hopefully u guys get what I'm talking about. Thanks!

Okay make sure its rust lol. Then take some 800 grit sandpaper and wet sand it out, follow it with 1500 grit. Now you man need to invest in a rim buffer (ex: Mothers Power ball/cone.) Then use a metal buffing compound (ex: Meguires Ulitmate Compound) to get out the scratches then folow with a rim polish. I recommend Meguries Hot Rims. This should do it.

I should be a detailing mod lol.

Mud, debis, many other things. Best way to tell is to take a finger nail to it and if dosnt come out its rust. . Yeah i just bought a Power cone, i havent a chance to use it yet. But i have used the Black Magic cone.

Heres the run down.

Equipment:

Drill and Cone
Compound and polish
----------------------

Lay some compound and appy some pressure down, and dont hold in one spot. Then wipe out with a micro fiber towl. Lay the polish down and just like the compound and wipe out with a micro fiber towl.

Ta-da

Go with Meguries Nxt Gen 2.0, its some of the best wax out there. I have tired meguiars gold class liquid wax and i wasnt impressed. I heard the Color x is good but i never used it.
