Thumbs up Clay Bar

Hey guys, just a little write up.... I just purchased the meguiars clay bar kit and thought I would try it after washing it really good.... Like other people that have not done this, I had my doubts on if it would really help. Well my doubts were relieved and I couldnt believe the crap it took out of the paint that you would never see otherwise. I thought my paint was in really good condition but wow was I wrong lol. So if your thinking about doing this, it took me about an hour to do the whole car and well worth the 15 dollar kit! I will post pics after waxing tommorow!

That is the best first step you can do when detailing your car!

Oh man, the clay bar is lovely! Will leave your paint feeling buttery smooth. It's a good idea to polish after claying though.

I use the next gen liquid wax and apply it with the orbital - yes I'm lazy LOL!!!! I remove it by hand though using a micro fiber towel.

I think I will wax the 03 first for protection - UV and stuff like that, and then right before nationals I will use Meguiar’s No 7!

ok ive used the tech 2 paste wax in the past and i hated it.

not sure if its paste in general, cause i have black paint, or the paste form, but it left white crap all over my car. every single seem, crack, crevious, you get the pic. i was picking at that crap for months.

now i just use the gold glass and have zero problems.

yeah the i probly clay bar 2 times a year.
