if youre at all handy, you could make some. just get some fence post, cut it at the angle you want, and take a flapper wheel to them. just make sure you polish them real good so they dont rust.

The bad thing about the cheap chrome tips is that they're single chromed mild steel- so eventually they'll rust through. The first tip I bought for my monte was a 4" (rolled tip, so it didn't look crazy huge)- chrome for $20 from a local shop. Within about 2-3 years, it had begun rusting from the inside, and fell apart enough that it started rattling.

IMO you're better off spending a little more on a quality chrome tip- or better yet a polished stainless.

just get some fence post, cut it at the angle you want, and take a flapper wheel to them. just make sure you polish them real good so they dont rust.
If the fence post is not stainless (aren't they zinc coated or something?)- it will rust. Even if you polish mild steel to a mirror finish, it will rust unless you protect it somehow (and most coatings won't stick to a mirror finish). Especially with the tip getting wet and such- and worse yet if you live in an area that salts in the winter.

If I'm thinking of the same kind of fence post- the light gray ones, they don't rust as is because of the coating- and if you take the coating off, they will rust.
