That's what he ended up doing anyway and I plan on doing eventually when I get about $200 for the extra painted set.

Get them if you can, well work the money. Everyone that see's them, loves them. They are the Med/Dark tint, as you can see they are really dark but are still fully funcitional

blackice- they should look killer on your monte. It's the same look I'm going for with mine; black rims, dark black tint, black tail lights, black reverse lights, and black third brake light. I think black is the best way to go with a Monte...when it is kept clean nothing else compares.

well VHT sells a product called nightshade its pretty much a spray paint that is transparrent. i got a set of junkyard tails and cleaned them up real good then sprayed them. i did notice that a lot of peoples are real dull looking though like a satin, but im gonna say thats cuz they held the can like 14 inches away like it tells you... i held it like 6 nice even coats is the key so it dont look splotchy, and do it one coat at a time cuz it will get real dark if you put too much on. mine are really glossy and in the one pic i have you can see my reflection but i cant get it up. i did it last year and they didnt fade in the sun or get dull i was impressed, o the vht runs about 12 or 13 bucks...if you can still find it just dont get carried away

just to add to that you will only need like 2 coats maybe 3 cuz the can dont lie where it says no light will show through if you do it too thick i recomend doing it on junk lights to get the feel for the stuff first cuz i dont know how it is for comming off if you mess up

but i cant get it up.
Sorry for taking a line out of context Jason, but I couldn't help but laugh when I read that line.

Thanks for the helpful tips with the VHT Nightshade. Might get some tails from a junk yard and try that myself.

P.S. If you need help re-sizing that pic, let me know. I can give it a shot for ya.
