yeah i noticed mine also have the clear cornners But if you look in the older photos of my car i had the orange cornners. Wish i still did they are not as easy to find most folks liek the clear cornners.
Where did you get yours?
the clear cornners i got off of Ebay from a diffrent buyer then the one listed here After goign thre the stuff i had here for recipets i found this out.

As for the orange/amber cornners that i had they were the factory head lights that i cut the lenses off and too some simpel green to them and took off only the parts i didnt want crome anymore. if you touch anythign else in there it will take it off real fast so if you do it make sure not to get it on anythign you dont want it on.
but you cant tape anythign off either.

I used Qtips and a tooth brush. But the amber cornners on them you cant pull off it will ruin the lenses.

are these headlights the clear version with the clear corners? and would getting those clear stealth bulbs be a good idea also?

i was looking around and decided that i'm going to put in sylvania silverstar ultras for my 9005 and 9006 bulbs, and the sylvania silverstar signal bulbs for my 3457 bulbs when i buy the clear headlights.

I love black housing headlights but I just can't see paying that much for them, especially when I was able to mod the one's on my Accord to be the same for just the cost of paint and clear silicone. If my headlights were to need replacement then maybe I'd consider them, but since mine work just fine I can't see myself paying $250 for some headlights with black paint on them.

man i di my own on the first set of mine. If ya look in my photo album there are shots of them with the amber corners. those are the stock head lights that i cut apart and resealed and you dont even have to pay for the paint. just some simpel green and a old tooth brush and some time.

BUT when you do it make sure you cut behind the rubber part and on the seem as much as ya can.

Also make sure you dont get any of the simpel green in or on anythign you dont want to take the reflective parts off. it will cause it to come right off.

i did this on one of mine and most folks never saw it but i knew it was there right at the bottom of one of the reflectors i had some get on there. But other then this they looked good and you can get a reseal on them easily.

Mine actually fogged up but only after a lady in Ge. hit my car and cracked the seal again.

it took me like a afternoon and a dremel tool to do it.

But you can not heat them and get them apart i know a person that tried and melted the ehad lights before they would come apart. So you would have to cut them .

That's what i'm talkin' about, cutting the headlight lens off is major surgery. When I did my Accord lights all I had to do was heat the seal all the way around them with a heat gun and pry them apart using a butter knife, paint what I wanted to paint and then put them back together by heating the seal again and pressing them back together and then sealing the deal by running a bead of silicone around the seal.

Oh well, I guess I just don't get black housing lights on this car. No worries.

lol man go to a bone yard and get a set to do it to . this way you dont have to worry if they were to mess up on ya.

But remeber that you cant get the clear cornners this way the amber lens is part of the clear oen so if ya try to take it apart it will destry the clear one.

It actually took me so long becuse i was being verry carefule doing it I did them while in Germany if i screwed them up it was a min. of at least three weeks to get a new light there.

Are you sure? I know 6th gen lights could be completely different but I heated and pried apart my 5th gen ebay headlights to take out the reflector. And I'm almost certain somebody opened their stockers as well. You have to do it very slowly, with the oven at only 250 deg. I put them in for only 2 minutes at a time, and pried a little every time, probably repeating the process 5-6 times.

But again, I wouldn't try this with your stock lights unless you have a spare set! And like I said, it's entirely possible that 6th gen lights could be impossible.
