all shined up (56k warning)
So after reading around online (mostly autogeek.net) I decided to buy some better wax and microfibers towels than I've been using. I bought Poorboy's Natty Red paste wax and cobra miracle towels.
Car was washed using meg's gold class, clayed using ICE clay kit (not the liquid stuff), waxed with Natty's red, glass cleaned with invisible glass and then wax, tires and wheels done with soap and water.
Most of the car has been painted, so there is some orange peel. I dont have a DA so there was not much I could do with it. Plus, time and money is limited since I am a college student and I work at autozone.
Sorry there was a smudge on the lens I didn't notice until after I got the pictures on my computer and I have no idea how to really work this camera.
picture time:

side of driver's door
here is how the car looked when it was purchased
a couple months ago when some guy backed into me

Same brand as autozone, but they were bought online. Had to make custom brackets that are welded to the bumper reinforcement. Mounted a switch beside the headlight switch with a relay tucked in behind. Install was easy if you can weld, hardest part was running the wires into the interior. Took around 1.5-2 hours but could probably be done in under an hour if you can find a spot to go through the firewall. Light output is great. With the high beams on, they are amazing. They help keep some lighting near the car as the main lights, light up the distance.

Okay, got a couple more questions now. Why did you need a relay?? You cant just hook it up to a switch??
And just so we're clear on what we're talkign about, these fogs are the ones that are kinda mixed together with purple, blue, green, ect, and kinda buldge outwards?
And I got a pretty little place to run outside wires to the inside
I dont mean all the colors mixed together when lit, I mean the glass on the outside when they're off.

I used a relay, because even though a switch says 10 amps, it isn't meant to carry a load. I have seen many cars with melted switches because of using no relay. Also with a relay, you can hook it up so that they can only be on during key on. Yes, these lights have the purpleish look when looking at them. I will get a night shot for you next time I drive at night.
