Default '06 ss rims ???

sorry for the more than likely too frequent question here guys but im going to detail the monte this week and need to know what type of polish if any i can use on the rims ... im not sure if they are like other chevrolet rims from the same that have a clear coat on them or if they are simply alloy/aluminium ??

dont fault me for not knowing as it is my brothers car and im caring for it while hes deployed, as well as cruising it every now and then to keep her in shape ...

These wheels are clear coated just like your paint. What I use on mine is the same car wash soap i use to wash the car, then I give them a nice coat of wax. They have the same finish on them that the body has on it. If you can use it on your paint, you can use it on the wheels. Happy detailing!

I wouldnt use a polish.....it has some kind of clear coat on it...you would be better off using your carwash soap then if you want to shine them up you can wax your wheels...I have an 07 ss

Soap and water... That's what I use on the stockers. You probably can wax them too since they're cleared but I've never done it. I wax my aftermarket guys.
