Default 06' Pace Car Spoiler

I've got an 06 monte LT and i've got the sport or surfboard style spoiler. I want to replace it with with a pace car spoiler like other models have. There are some on ebay that are primed for around $100, but they are for the models up to 05'. Some say from 2000 to 2007 but i dont want to take a chance that the holes dont line up or there will be holes exposed. Does anyone know where I could find one new or used.....primed if new, or painted bronze metallic?

nope 2000-2005 vertical or stand-up or pace car or w/e they call them spoilers won't fit on our Montes =(

trust me it's frustrating!!!! i've been searching for one for a loooong time already

however, i did have some luck as of late on car-part.com and found a vertical spoiler for about 160 shipped AND they have plenty more because what that site does is that it looks for parts on salvage yards and wrecked car yards all over the internet

give it a try i'm sure you can find something there

p.s: i hate when companies put that the same spoiler will fit on 2000-2006 because it's false advertisement and i feel like calling them and telling them off!!! [:@]

nice....did all 4 holes match up?.......I've seen guys on ebay that say that two holes dont cover up and they have to be plugged....Maybe it would match up. Maybe i'll just stop at a GM dealer and ask them. What model is your Monte?

Thanks for the info everyone....i'm going to check out some local junkyards early next week and see what they've got. I checked on some online junkyards and they have some for around $140, but i'm still going to check around at some local places. I'll let everyone know what i find out.

I made a few calls to some local junkyards today and none of them had a spoiler. They said it is too new of a car. And I talked to some local auto shops, and they were in the $400 area and said I'd need to redrill holes. I guess I'll have to email some guys on ebay and see what the distance between the holes are.
