Heated Seat Install!! Help!

Question Heated Seat Install!! Help!

So i found a set of heated seats, they are power, Heated and leather. I have leather and my driver is power but passenger is not, im curious to how hard it will be to swap them out? The Seats i found are matching black leather with the driver and passenger both power, I already have the harnesses for the heated seats and i hooked the switch up and the buttons for heated seats light up, so there is power going to it, but what will it take to make my new seats work? I want the passenger seats power options to work, Is there a halfway simple way to do this?

That is a very good question. I have both power and heated seats in mine. I could look and see what it hooks up too or see what I have that you're missing.

Are you using all factory wiring and switch? If so, the green connector goes to the heater. Should be a simple install.

The seat bottom and back are installed in series. I had the bottom die on me in my '01 SS LE and I made a simple jumper to bypass the bottom of the seat.

does the panel that has both heat buttons, just pop out? Don't want to break it

Yep, just use a flathead screwdriver, do one side and move to the other side. It'll pop right out. Just don't yank it too far afterwards until you remove the connectors from the buttons.

hmm yeah that'll be a fun one. I say yeah it should work but idk. you also need the button on your dash, idk if you need a new bezel. is this 7th gen? the 6th gen didnt have heated i dont think? i dont know where the button would of been.

They definitely did. 6th gens were in the console.

so thats what that was for! i knew it was for osmehting. i always wanted to use it for ***** for something i was going to do XD it comes off so easily could put tons of stuff their.
