WHICH BRAKE CALIPER PAINT COLOR?
Hi guy's I want to paint my brake calipers soon, and I am wondering what color does everybody think i should go with?
I am thinking of either going with black or white or maybe even silver.
I know the white may get dirty easily but will it be easy to clean them with brake cleaner or something? Or is it gonna be too hard to keep them looking nice in white?
This is with the black wheel look I have,
But if I go with my chrome look I don't know if white brake calipers will look nice behind chrome. What's your opinions?
Does anybody know how to make the caliper paint glossy?

RE: WHICH BRAKE CALIPER PAINT COLOR?
I have chosen to do my new F-Body Calipers Black. Here is a shot from a few minutes ago.
That said. I will show you different colors to help you decide. Stay away from Chrome or polished colors as they require alot of cleaning maintenance and chrome keeps the heat in.
OK this is not a shameless plug on my brakes but photos of the different colors and what they look like under wheels. These are the best photos i have available at the moment. Hope this helps.

RE: WHICH BRAKE CALIPER PAINT COLOR?
i did mine in red, but that matched the color choices for my car.
But i refuse to paint them white knwoing tha they are 1. close to all dust, dirt,or mud you drive therw. 2. the cause of all the black dust on the wheels is from this same part of the car can ya imagine what white will look like shortly after driving it with this color.
But it comes down to a matter of your choice on what you want or think will look the best under your car.
good luck.
black is a factory color if you plan to paint them that then i i would look in to a glossy color in high temp.

i iddn't even think about the dust getting all over white....
usually white's a good color for looking clean, but black brake dust wouldn't do them any good for sure.....
maybe you should try good 'ol traditional red? just a thought
