Just about everytime I come on the forum I see an ad for K&N filters and a picture of a Mustang at the top of the page. What's wrong with that picture?
Don't you think we would like to see a Chevy in the ad? After all this is a Monte Carlo forum.

Hi Muddauber,I know, it seems weird that it's on the top of the forum hompage.[:@]But, it's a good looking Mustang Shelby that cost over$50 K + + and it's just reminds me that I can have/drivea Chevrolet Monte Carlo for more thenhalf the price ofa Shelby. :D:):D:)I know that K & N is one of our Major Sponsors of the MCF, andwithout sponsors, we would not exist.[X(] I love cars, & theShelby's are a nice package, but I'm happy to have myMonte Carlo, and if I had the funds, I would buy a Corvette, before I would buy a Mustang Shelby....4-$ure : )and,Life goes on, until it ends.....EnJoy your `journey, in a Chevrolet Monte Carlo:D :) :D :) :D~ Peace Out ~`Space
I believe it's more of a standard banner ad that appears on all websites that K&N sponsor.
Since they're sponsoring this site, I'd say don't bite the hand that feeds you.
Oh yeah.... and buy a K&N product![sm=happy046.gif]

That's because the carbreaths so bad in stock confirguration.
I think our cars breath very well as stock because we get smaller horsepower increases.

I don't know really. K&N's website shows thier FIPK CAI gives an additional 13hp from 3600rpm to redlineat the wheels by just installing thier system (on the v8 model) And as we have learned by couch's part numbers, the v6 models use the same parts, so it cant be that far behind.

I will agree. The monte's stock induction system isnt bad for stock. Ive seen some pretty interesting layouts in the past (ever open a hood on a new f-150?) and ours is fairly straightforward.

I guess K&N wants to show the most HP that they achieve with their product.Nothing wrong with that. Yes, I have one of their filters so I am one of their customers. I do have trouble swallowing the price for a air intake from them that only gives a modest gain. So till they come up with a better mouse trap, I'll just use their drop infilter for a million miles then replace it. That's my 2 cents worth. But what do I know?
