I spent the day at the Lane Automotive show with my wife LadyT and RJ and his G/F. GREAT day! It hit mid 80's, and just a perfect day. Last year they had about 1,200 cars. This year the place was jammed full, with some cars showing on the opposite side of the drive from the show. Someone said 2,000 cars, but I'm guessing 1,500. Largest turnout ever.
I took 358 pics, but just a fraction of the cars. I'll post some of the best, IMO, and pics of ALL the Montes in attendance, about 20-30.I THINK I got pics of all the Monte's there, but it's hard to know for sure. I know I missed at LEAST 1, but probably more.

Wayne, I bet it was a blast. I liked that green 2nd Gen.

But to be honest, what took my breath away was that red 60-61 Apache next to it. The hood is from a 62 and up, but its a common thing to do since the 60-61 hoods are really hard to find now.

If God willing, i'll find me another 60 Apache. 4~SURE:D:D

Awesome pics Wayne! I really liked the Green 70 Monte Carlo SS, I guess that was a popular color combo because I have seen a couple of 70 Green SS's in my area.

Well Wayne what can i say great job on implamenting all the styles of the Monte on this thread..... gotta love the monte but for me it would be 4th gen. and up....i personally love that blue 6th gen monte witht he pace car decals and the trunk lid liner and that nova in the begininng is a beast!!!

The blue 6th gen is an '03 Pace Car, and it's RJ's G/F's. They came up from Ohio to be at the show with us. GREAT looking car, I agree. If I was to get another Monte, it would be a 4th gen.

That 6th gen with all the sound equipment should be inspiration for those 3.4s out there :P
