Zinc coated 04 mc ss rotors

Okay im looking for some good front brake rotors for my 04 mc ss . Can anyone give me some links on ebay or someplace . They gotta be zinc coated and id like them to be black zinc . They dont have to be drilled or slotted but that would be cool . Also this car is driven in the winter and daily driven and never autocrossed .

all you gotta do is type it in on ebay, most people on here say they are no good but ive had them on my 02 LS for the last 85k miles and they still work the same as the day i got them. i got them for 180.00 came with the front and back with ceramic pads, also they are cross drilled and slotted. btu they dont have the black ones just silver, gold an light blue, but they are just fine.

I wouldn't mess with ebay brakes and all the imported garbage thats on there for aftermarket parts- if you're just looking for for regular replacement rotors just go down to the local parts store and pick up a quality replacement.

I just ordered a set of these for my 1999 Z34, EBC sport rotors black zinc plated.

That is the link to a pair for a 2004, not the same as my 1999.

Not sure who it was that posted this site awhile back. BrakePerformance.com

I bookmarked it for when I need a new set. Hope it helps.

one more thing to add about the ones on ebay, the reason why poeple say they crack is becase you need to "break them in" but they are very good brakes. its just they have the ebay reputation and nobody thinks they are any good

I've never used the zinc coating, but I have a hard time believing the coating would last very long a set of brakes. Can someone prove me wrong?

i cant PROVE it. all i can say is its metal, so metal isnt going to wear, well it will but not fast at all if it were to wear then it will wear at the same rate as any other rotors, ive never seen a rotor wear, just grind. but hey i definetly could be wrong.

The coating is on the rotors, not the brake pads. So it's where the hub and everything meets, it usually doesn't rust out very fast.

The surface that the pads hit though, will rust since the zinc plating has worn off.

The entire rotor is zinc coated to begin with, however, the part where the pads touch the rotor for braking will wear off almost immediatly. (but you should not need to really worry about rust on that part anyway, because the pads will always keep it clean when driving).
