Is it woth lowering 1 inch?

I dont like all the tire space in my monte carlo from body to wheel, so i was thinking about lowering the car about 1 inch? would it look good? does anyone have pics of 1 inch lowering? IS THAT WHAT I SHOULD DO BUY LOWERING SPRINGS? Thanks its 2004 monte carlo dale jr

One inch would be a good compromise between ride quality and ride height.

I had SSC 1.75" lowering springs on my '06 and I thought they ruined the overall driving experience around town. Too low and too much spring pressure. Looked absolutely perfect, but rode pretty poorly compared to stock.

I think a proper 1.00" lowering spring would be nice to have. I have not found one as of yet...
