What is needed to lower the front of my Monte

What all do i need besides springs? & why? Ima drop my front so it dont look odd with my subs

I think depending on how low you go you may need shorter axles.
I remember my buddy lowered his s10 by just cutting 21/2 coils out of the springs. It rode great:rotfl:not really.

eibatch or whatever its called makes a lowering kit. 1.3 inch fronnt 1 inch back I think is what it drops.

How much do your subs weigh?!

if you can find spring blockers from the gto and put in the back springs that should help level it out. you can also lower the front and get new stock springs for the rear. don't know how many miles on the stock springs you have now but im sure probably already sag little bit. lmao it's funny i used to have 2 sets of the blockers and trying to sell them and no one interest. now a year later there's always someone looking for something at one time i was dying to get rid of.

About 185lbs with the box & amp

Mr.Monte 04-06-2012 10:44 AM

you could heat the coils until they sag lower to where you want!

they the red pieces. i think the G8 might have them too. i have not follow up with the 3800 scene for quite sometime now so im not up to date on what else everyone is using but as far as i know the blockers are still the budget mod that most are still doing.

Have to look into those, rather raise the rear, my GTO is lowered & it can be a pain

nemesis 04-06-2012 01:13 PM
