Default What is the bolt pattern?

I have a Monte Carlo SS 2001 with the standard 16's. I am wondering what the bolt pattern is. I want to fit it's rims onto a different car that has a 40mm 5 lug bolt setup.

Also I am confused. I thought this was known as the offset, but I read yesterday the offset has to do with how "deep" the rim is.
