Tire Opinions???

Hey guys I am looking to get a set of tires for my summer rims. I have been looking around and I am thinking about getting these. Kumho Ecsta ASX KU21. Just looking to see what people think?(no goodyears)

Read about them on Tire rack and they seem to be very well built. Customer reviews some liked and others not. What is their speed rating? I run BF Goodrich G-Force myself, they stick very well and are Z-rated for speeds over 148MPH. Click on the 2002 Monte icon under my name, will pull up some info on my Monte.

They are V rated which is good enough for me. I mean i used to do over 140 on H rated so V will be fine.

I like Falkin tires, there great on my GTO

I like whatever has a good treadlife, traction, and speed ratings, and a good price ;)

I have Dunlop SP Sport Signatures right now on my 18s. Can't wait to get those back on, it seemed like a waste to run winter wheels this year lol

Yea it really does seem like a waste since we got like no snow. All these tires people are saying are good. Ill have some thinking to do. thanks.

I got away from Z rated tires fast, because (as good as they grip), the life just isn't there.

Yellowjacket 03-01-2012 09:56 AM

Yea that's why I started looking at the Kumho tired because they are still a good rating(V) and have a good tred life on them. There are like right in the middle.

I'm happy with the Michelin HydroEdge's I put on our Monte a few years ago. Great traction dry/wet, quiet, smooth ride. The last few years there has been a rebate on sets of 4 (~ $70).
