Steering Wheel Shutter on Highway

Hello All,

I seem to be coming to wits end with a vibration issue I have been having on my 2004 Monte Carlo SC. The steering wheel will begin to shake at about 60-65 mph and continue to shake through 80mph. This shake is independent of braking. I have had both front wheel hubs replaced, balanced my tires (even switched to another set of rims), and regressed the slide pins on the brakes. The car also has two new tie rod ends and struts. I checked the control arm bushings and those looked fine, and the ball joints do not clunk when the car is in the air.

Possibly related, my car will also clunk slightly when slowing down to make a 90 degree turn. I know that the intermediate steering shafts were issues on these cars but I was wondering if that could also cause my slight shake in the wheel. I also have not used a runout gauge to check the ball joints.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
-Brian
