As everyone said tire repairs are pretty cheap. I've had good luck with them on several vehicles. Some shops use a plug that has a patch on the inside, those works great.

Any suggestions on new tires from those who drive in the snow? The tires i have now are great in the snow and i dont want to lose that ability.

A $5-10 tire plug kit from any auto parts store (or Walmart) will likely fix that for you. Since it's on the tread, not near the sidewall, should take a plug nicely.

Update:
Repaired for free which i was excited about but my tread is really low so i think ill run a bit longer on my fronts that have good tread and upgrade this summer. I am thinking about nokian wrg2 tires. heard really good things. Anyone have opinions here? Unfortunately our sponsor doesn't carry them. |
That sucks .. I had the same problem last week I ran over a bolt .. drained the air from my tire and plugged it myself .. my tires only have about 7000 miles at the most ..
