Quick questions on replacing struts

The time has finally come that I need to change the struts on my 02. With 90K miles its smooth days are long gone.

Now I've been doing some searching here and othe monte sites and my first choise would be to get the KYG GR-2 strutset. Also I need the front mount set. Is the rear also necessary to change? I hardly have any weight back there.

Where is the best place and cheapest to get them online if there is any? What else do I need beside a spring compressor?

I plan to do this with a friend and I also have the Haynes manual just incase.

RE: Quick questions on replacing struts

I about to get 2 KYB struts from Summit Racing. Now my other question is, does it matter if I get the monroe mounts? Are strut mounts universal with any shocks?
I dont want to pay $60 for mounts when I could get them for less thanhalf price. I dont have much cash right now to spend on just mounts.

I put Monroe Sensi-traks or something like that on my '01 and regretted it. Stick with the KYB's

RE: Quick questions on replacing struts

OK, well after a week of having the fronts installed everything seems ok except when I'm going over 60mph. Is there a break-in perion on struts. When I'm doing about 60 my steering wheel starts to shake. Depending on the road it gets pretty bad. You can feel it through the whole car.

After I installed my struts I had an alignment and a tire rotation/balance. Could they of messed something back and to go back there or is this normal?
