And if you looked around for a good vinyl place you could get the center caps covered with a nice bow-tie on them

Man those are sharp. Been thinking about how a set of "Jr-ish" wheels would look on my car. Wish I had the $ to jump on this as well, hopefully they will have a set when I can get enough funds for one!

hmmm, was just thinking, how do you all think these would look on my monte! let me know! thanks, I really like the look of them....

TheMonteMan 02-01-2010 12:42 AM

arent those wheels the same as the regular diamond cut wheels with the sections painted black? couldnt you just pick up a set of regular ones and have them powder coated to look just like that?

Wish I saw this earlier! I might be selling my 17" Maxxim Ferris rims with the Hankook Ventus tires they're on because my Monte might get totaled :/

Sure, but after all is said and done, how much did you just spend in comparison to buying those??

TheMonteMan 02-01-2010 07:15 PM

idk id have to think that powder coating cant be more expensive then a new set of wheels.

If you have a decent set to start. Don't know what the PO did to my car but there are numerous scratches on the wheels and he/she must have used some agressive cleaners on the rims because you can see where the clear (?) is seperating. Besides, worse case scenario someone may be able to use them as winter wheels.
