Need advice on tire size.
I found some rims that I really like in 18s but I'm not exactly sure what size of tires to get. Posted a question on the blog but it was pretty slow yesterday so I didn't get many responses.
I believe 245/45/18 should fit on an aftermarket set of 18 inch wheels. Just want to make sure no one has had an issues with fitment before I make a purchase. More than likely I'll be ordering from tirerack.com. Discount Tire would be another option if there were any within a reasonable distance, but there really isn't any within even 100 miles. I do realize that every car will react different to tires but if anyone has ran this size and had any fitment issues I'd like to know ;) And no I'm not telling what rims I'm getting til they're on lol :p |
I run on 245/45/18 no problems at all.

Change of plans!!!!!!! eBay has a deal with discounttire going on right now with free shipping and $100 prepaid visa with purchase of 4 tires.
Just ordered some Goodyear Eagle GTs for $445 shipped so they'll be $345 after I get the rebate which will probably be some time but still too good of a deal to pass up. At least for me it was. I'll delay 18s for another year and invest a little into paint/body work instead  Possibly a cold air inductions intake as well :) |
Great Deal !
