Oh yeah...those buckets really compliment the dark tone of the paint and the headlights. It would look really great with the high sport appearance package ground effects!

yah thats what i was thinkin too...get the high appearance sport kit...

that grill makes a nice little mod to these cars too...that gives it a huge different look as well...i love the grill...that was the first thing i noticed on my monte wheni bought mine :)

Those are sometimes known as the JDM black headlights for the Monte Carlo. JDM is a company that makes them, but there are some other manufacturers out there that make them as well.

The popularity of black rims is higher than I can remember in these recentyears. I remember that I painted my rally rims black on my 67 Chevelle back in the late 70's.

At the time this wasn't very popular, after I added the chrome beauty rings and chrome center caps, my Chevelle looked totally different from most cars those days.

Most guys were running with either aluminum slotted rims or Cragar Super Sports. Those were the only 2 rims available for hot rods back then.

Grandpa Dave,I thought about you the other day whenI drove across my Chevy dealer. There was a Bronze 2006 LTZ on the lot for a clearance price of $21K. It looked just like yours.

I have a friend who has had a 73 chevelle for many years. He'd painted his wheels white a long time ago (body colour is light green) also when that wasn't a popular thing to do. I think that the body colour has to be right for coloured wheels to look good. Black body with black wheels, a given. Neutral colours look best with black buckets.

The car looks awesome. I believe the grill is an SLP grill isn't it? I love those rims and hopefully I'll be getting my black headlights soon for my MC. :o)
