lug nut replacement

Yes ! I know I think I have asked this question before, but never bought them !! Im Sorry !! I need to know what is the best option/brand/color/source to buy : all new "real" lug nuts for my '03 SS? I am sick of these stupid plastic lug nut caps/covers that break, fly off, get stolen ! I want some real lug nuts ! maybe in black or nickel color? whats the best place to get a set of 20 quality ones? also are my '03 SS ones coned, bulge nut or what ? 1.5 in x 19 mm?? I just put new shoes all around on my baby ( Tires! ) and I need some new lug nut jewelry to go with !! just don't want to order the wrong ones or ****ty ones either!! thanks my Monte peeps!! ... A quick option is go to the local parts store. They stock a few different styles of lugs for factory rims. They should have some standard chrome lugs that will replace the stock ones but might require a different lug wrench . Good luck

I know not very important post, but just wanted to say I bought black lug nuts off ebay for 12 dollars and change, free shipping, 20 nuts, pretty decent quality and not only do I not have to deal with those stupid lug factory lug nut covers, the black nuts look pretty darn good on there! even if they only last a couple of years or so, due to lug wrenches and impacts, 20 nuts were cheaper than 20 replacement nut covers !!!, and they look pretty cool...FYI!

I've delt removing these on people's cars for years. Not my favorite design either. A 20 mm socket is required when there damaged and a 18mm when there missing . Solid chrome is the best choice.
