One of the members on here he goes by CrusaderSS, aka Damien, recently lowered his car and from what I remember he was very happy with the kit he got. Hopefully he sees this thread and chimes in.

Damien installed Vogtland lowering springs on his Monroes. I'm running Canuck Motorsports lowering springs on Bilsteins on my 06. Which lowering setup to use is personal preference. I have been happy with my lowering spring setup in two occasions - 03 and 06 Monte Carlos.

so when one lowers their car the only thing getting changed out is the springs?

yea in theory all you need to do is get shorter springs. but most people do it right, change springs and get matching struts so everything works together the right way
