Lowering springs didn't lower car AT ALL!!
I bought the Canuck lowering springs for my 06 Monte Carlo and it didn't lower it at all! I only put the back ones on so far and dropped it and it was still the same height. Any help?? Did I accidentally put the front ones on the rear???

Did it say how much it was suppose to lower it? New spring setups also take a few days/miles for them to settle, so it could get a bit lower.

Any time I jack up the car and have the wheels dangling (extending the suspension) and set it back down, it sits a little higher.
Like Keane mentioned, you may need to let the suspension settle (sometimes hopping in and going for a ride helps). Plus depending on how much lower you are going, you old parts may have been worn out giving you some of that drop unintentionally. Just food for thought. |
Have you owned the car since new? Are you sure it did not already have lowering springs installed? I like Jason's theory that the older weaker spring were lowering already too.

Agree with Jason and others 100%
Go for a ride and see if they settle, if not then either it had lowering springs already or the old springs were worn out with major sag |
Nevermnd i over reacted lol after I put all the other springs on and took it for a ride it dropped down a lot. Looks so much better and rides better too! Took a whole day but worth it! I also cleaned and painted my brake calipers red.

Glad to hear it all worked out, post up some pics!
