Thanks Tadd. They have yet to bother me with the tint on the 06, however I got three citations for the tint on my yellow 03 when I had that car. I've gone with the same 18 percent tint on both cars but the yellow on my 03 made the tint look darker.

Yeah I can do that. Are you looking for the diameter or length?

My lowering springs came yesterday. Now here's the bit of confusion. I ordered by placing a call to the number on SSC's website, right. However, when I got my springs the box and invoice are both labeled Canuck Motorsports. I read up on that a little bit and, from what I could tell, SSC and Canuck Motorsports are the same company. It's just a difference of retail and wholesale and basically re-branding the same product, which is the confirmation I got when I called them about it yesterday. Their company manufactures springs for both automotive and industrial applications, just like some of the manufacturers I was looking at for custom springs. The confusing part is that they don't clarify any of this.

Honestly, now that I have these, I'm really not sure if I want to stick with these or go with Vogtlands.

Anyway, here are the "SSC" springs. The set was $180 including shipping. The advertised drop is 1.8" front and 1.5" rear, which overall is 0.5" lower than what I lowered my 03 to with the Eibachs.

Fronts on the left, rears on the right.

Front spring compared to factory spring.

Its looking great so far man. May I just add from what I saw in the first set of pictures your car is damn clean! Its in beautiful shape. I guess I never realized you had your 2 front windows tinted also since your sig pic had the windows down, great touch to a black car it looks great man. Keep up the good work.

Thanks
Tim, I will take the dimensions of the strut tomorrow when I get home from work.

So, I got out in the garage tonight and disassembled the factory rear struts, which means all four are disassembled now. I also unbolted the front brake calipers and caliper brackets to get ready for paint. The brackets are cleaned up and sanded now so I should have time to get those painted tomorrow evening. Here's some of tonight's progress.

After removal of the front brake calipers and brackets.

Factory rears compared to the new Bilstein HD's.

Disassembled factory rear strut.
