i have a 16 inch rims right now putting on the 18x8.5 would they rub i am not sure about 18x9.5 for the front but what about the back as well. i just want to ask because i know i have the fe1 suspention i think i dont want a rub issue with tire and suspention. i just want to double check before outting them on thanks for the response.

I THINK, that a 9.5 rim would probably rub, but i'm not really sure. Our stock rims are 6.5 inches wide, 3 inches seems like a pretty big size increase to me.

And FYI, your Monte has the FE2 suspension. I read on some review that ALL LS/ LT Monte's came standard with the FE2 suspension. I think the FE1 was only offered as standard equipment on the LS/ LT Impala's...at least this is according to the 06/07 Monte/ Impala review I read.

 

i had a brain fart and thank you for the help. with our monte's start from 6.5 to 8.8 width at least i am glad about that

 

Put them on I have 20*35*235 no rub at all on a 04. i always get compliments on the way mine looks.
