Thumbs up KYB GR-2/Excel-G VS. AGX? Who has them?

I recently picked up a set of Eibach Lowering springs and plan on replacing the struts when I lower. Just wondering who has KYB struts and how you like them. I've heard it's hard on the GR2s with lowering springs but not as bad on AGX? Can anyone confirm this?

If I get the GR2's I'll probably be able to lower my Monte before winter but if I go with the AGX struts, I will only be able to afford them after working a few more months. The AGX's are just over double the price of GR2s but if they'll out-last and out-perform the GR2s, I won't have any problem spending the extra money.

So who's got em?

Here's the lowering springs I got. I think the Eibach Pro-Kit may be discontinued now? Should lower about 1.0-1.5", which is plenty for me.

GR2 are basically stock replacements.

AGX are adjustable so that you can adjust the ride when you want it. Probably best to go for the AGX if you can.

Ok cool.. AGX is my top choice. I'm just curious if anyone has owned both or experienced both at least.

Probably going to make a suspension overhaul my winter project.

Frank brings up a good point, I noticed that as well. The springs that you show out of the box, are those the same ones that came in the Eibach box? I hope not because those are definitely not Eibach's. They have the GM factory stickers on them. I had Eibach's on my 03 and they looked exactly like the ones in Frank's picture.

Strange the factory stickers are on them. I wonder if someone bought eibachs and sold the stock springs and shipped in the eibach box?

Those are the eBay pictures.. Great. I bought OEM.

She shipped them tonight via overnight shipping so I don't understand. I got them for around $100 shipped and they shipped them overnight? Over night shipping was probably close to $100 by itself. I'll see when they get here but they'll be sent back if they're OEM. Thanks for the heads up.

Any one know how much stock OEM coil springs are? Did I overpay LMAO..

Going to be filing a dispute with eBay tomorrow it sounds like. And since I'll probably refuse to pay to ship them back. The people who sold them are going to be totally out it sounds like. LOL

Looks like I paid for OEM springs and a few Eibach decals

But really, did I get a steal on new OEM springs for $100 shipped? My luck would be that they aren't even for a Monte
