Default Have a 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo LS

What's up guys have a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS if I add 22 inch rims when I put a strain on transmission and if so what can I do to make transmission able to handle rims or should I just go with 20 inch rims or stocks

Changing the rim size should not affect transmission, I would worry more about the offset and the tire rubbing and possibility of the speedometer being off with the wrong size tire.
