Good Tire, Low Price
My car is a 2004 Intimidator SS. Completely stock. The RS-A tires that come with it from the factory are running somewhere between $250/$300, so I have been looking for alternatives that would be less expensive, but not compromise performance. First I tried Pirelli Zero Nero's which were about $160. They were OK when new but the tread wore a little excessively.
I recently found Goodyear Eagle GT's in my size. I put four new ones on and the bill was $510 including mounting, balancing and new stems. I have had them about a month, so now I am getting a good feel from them from the road. Good tire for the price, get these if the RS-A's are a little out of the budget. I use this car as an everyday driver, and the traction is excellent. Tire dealers and other drivers have told me this tire is also excellent in snow (which should be coming soon). |
Very good choice - I have 20k miles on my Eagle GTs and I'm very happy with them.

I thought you were asking, and I was going to suggest the GTs haha
