Default big brake kit

I'm posting this question here because brakes air categorized with suspension on zzp.

I found a brake kit with hoses, calipers, and rotors for a GP. My question to the 5th gen guys is... does bit fit? I figured bid ask this before I go to the local pull a part and experiment on my own.

I don't think it will fit as 5th gens are 1.5 gen Wbodys and GPs are 2nd gen Wbodys... But I'm not 100% sure.

That's why I was asking before jumping in with both feet. I know the front suspension is different

i dont think ive seen anybody put bigger brakes on there 5th gen except for one guy i think it was "RedZ sumthing" but basically they had changed to a willwood 6-piston setup which is over 2grand just for the fronts. i think there was another company oem motorsports made some not sure if they do anymore but that was over a grand as well

Trust me, before I spend that much, I'll change the front suspension all together

I'm at a loss for lowering it... I have lowered then whole car on sprint lowering springs, I'm considering raising the back up to stock height to look even. Besides, yours sits like a moster truck compared to mine.
Lol

I dont mind my brakes much, I just have a fitment problem with my wheels as they won't fit without spacers due to the stock calipers. So I'm gonna go to a junkyard and spend the day doing a trial and error type thing using one of their cars so I can seen what works and what doesn't, unless someone knows the answer.

I didn't think you were lowered. Ouch, monster truck status. I'm leaving mine stock height, already have a car that's super low

You could grind the caliper down a bit, I know Buck did that to get a pair of 94-98 Mustang GT rims w/ slicks on his Lumina.
