1988 Monte Carlo SS - Suspension and Disc Brake Recommendations?

Hello. I have a stock 88 Monte Carlo SS. Looking for suggestions on some basic suspension upgrades? Also, any suggestions on an all wheel disc brake kit?

Thank You!

Josh

Hi Josh,
I have a 1987 El Camino SS with a Monte SS rear axle so all the parts are the same as a Monte. for the rear end I got boxed upper and lower control arms from Edelbrock (not sure if they are still in production). I got a set of Bilstein shocks and new Moog springs in the back, that's about all that I did. For the front I got tubular upper control arms from Speedway Racing, a lot cheaper than most others on the market. I also got spindles and disk brakes from a 2000 or so S-10 Extreme, they are a direct bolt on to the stock ball joints. To finish the front I used Moog springs from an S-10 and the Bilstein shocks. I also got one of the 1980's Trans am steering boxes to get a quicker ratio for the steering. That's my old school suspension mods, low buck and rides great.
Dave
