Default 1970 Gen 1 Monte: best tire/wheel size combo

Hi All,
For a Gen 1 1970 Monte,
Based on your various experiences, if I want to stick with 15" rally wheels and BF Goodrich Radial TA's,
What is the largest/widest wheel and radial tire combo that will function without any scraping or rubbing?
Thanks for your help.

225/75 R 15 in front & 235/75 R 15 in back. Yeah, those are truck tire sizes, but your wheelwells & openings are huge. Those size tires will make it look real good

Thanks vincenti. That’s just a little bigger than I was thinking but it would be great. Do you have any personal experience so you know they fit and there is no interference when suspension or steering, or both, is active.
Tks

Yessir. That's the sizes I ran on a 72 Grand Prix that originally came with 14 inch wheels. I never had any issues with bumps, turns, ect. If you have the rear fender skirts on, I'd recommend removing them
