Another thng is if you go with a lower offset and use a spacer your tires will hang out. I would say to play it safe 38-42 offset is the range. But it also depends on rim width. the wider the rim the lower the offset. so like 36 might be doable on a 8-8.5 inch rim. but again the lower the offset the more it hangs out.
