02 monte rear wheel bearing assembly issue

I’m new to the forum. I have done some searching and haven’t found any help yet. I have a 02 monte ls. The rear wheel bearing went bad on it. The speed sensor gave me troubles. I changed it. I removed the spindle assembly. Pressed out the bearing assembly then put it all back together. The car had a shimmy to it. I drove it that way for 2 years. Put another bearing assembly on it. Figured I had a bad manufactured assembly. Still have a shimmy to the cars ride. Any thoughts to why it shimmys?

what speed was it at? when was the last time the strurs where replaced?

she has 82k miles on her. never had struts replaced. seems low mileage to consider. problem did not exist until I changed the hub assembly. I feel the shimmy around 50 mph.

Sounds like a bad tire to me. Might just need balancing. Another thing it could be, how did you torque the lug nuts? By hand with a torque wrench set to 100 lbs, right? These cars are REAL sensative to mis-mounted wheels. I've had several brake rotors messed up from that.
My 1st guess is a bad tire or a wheel out of balance.

thanks. I have considered swapping the wheel with a front. Been to miserably cold and wet!
