7th GEN Monte Carlo Seats interchangable with 6th GEN
Are 7th GEN Monte Carlo Seats interchangable with 6th GEN? I just bought a set of used 2007 Monte Carlo leather seats to swap out with my 2004 Monte Carlo cloth seats.

Yes I will get to find out if they fit or not. I tried to post this question before I bought them, but had to wait for the post to be approved...... Sooooo I bought the seats anyways. A craigslist's deal of $125 for everything!!!
The driver seat is power and both seats have air bags. I don't think these are heated seats. So the fun part is going to be the electrical connections. I have a 2004 Monte LS and the seats are from a 2006 or 2007.

well if theyre leather and have the side airbags they probably came out of a fully loaded car so they most probably do have the heated seats. mine are leather and heated sans airbags. that and the 6 disc are the 2 options i dont have on my car.

7th GEN Leather Seats are now installed and fit perfectly. Wiring is different, but I only have the driver power seat controls working.... I did not wire side airbags, seat belt sensors nor heated seats.
I forgot to take pics of my stock interior, but I did manage to find some pictures that are exactly like my stock interior.
Got to love the center inlay on the cloth seats.... reminds me of a gymnastics leotard print!

wiring for seats
Hello sorry for such a random message but do you remember the wiring to wire up the power seats. I have a 06 monte which is a 7th gen and I bought seats out of a 2002 which is a 6th gen
I am trying to put the driver seat in but the connections are different. Do you remember how you did this any help would be greatly appreciated.

No I do not. I only hooked up the ground and power. The power wire is the biggest gage red wire in the body harness. I also unplugged air bags as my 2004 seats did not have them, so I did not know if there was signal wires in the main body harness.
I still have yet to hook up the heated seats and wish I knew how to do this as I don't have switches and would have to install my own.

So I started this thread back in June of 2013 when I bought a set of used 2007 Monte Carlo leather seats to swap out with my 2004 Monte Carlo cloth seats. I got the seats in that summer but I never hooked up the heated seats and would like to do so now. I did not originally have heated seats so I don't have the switches on the center console.
I need info from anyone that knows anything about the switches, relays wiring off the seat.... etc.
