2018 Detroit Auto Show Pics
Here's some of my pics from yesterday at the Detroit Auto Show, the first day open to the public. Good show overall. I really do not care for the new Silverado. My favorite vehicle was probably the CTS-V 115 Year Anniversary Edition... only 115 made in the ice blue color. I really like the Audi RS5 Coupe too.

I didnt think they could do it.. -But they made the Malibu yet again, even more boring looking.. Too bad they didnt just improve from the 7th gen on..
"I got it everyone.. Lets make a car that people wont remember 10 seconds after seeing it.. Better yet, lets make a car that people wont even bat an eye at." -Malibu design team probably..
Thanks for taking the pic's for us, something I wouldn't usually be able to see. I agree about the new design on the new truck , maybe the different model packages will change my mind.
Like usual, fantastic shots Matt! You really know how to use your camera and frame a car shot. Those shots can be impossible to get in a crowd, I know. Thanks for sharing.
Couldn't they have put a coat of wax on that old Bullit?

Yeah going on it's third year of production the 9th Gen Malibu is nice, and I have sat in one the past three Auto Shows now, but I prefer my 8th Gen by far... nicer interior (looks and feels higher quality IMO and I like the ambient lighting across the dash from door to door) and I think a better looking exterior.

Well Matt you are one who enjoys the nicer car events. Like JuniorCar mentioned you have time and again proven to have quite the knack for photo composition, very well done, great work.
The trucks are getting to become so luxurious they are glorified grocery getter cars. Something you could wear a button up shirt and tie in and be at home. One would be skeered to even so much as get er scratched it's so perty...
Where are the 4x4 mans trucks with the saddle blanket seats and barb ed wire for handles?
Great pics, Matt. I wish I was there. Some of the new models are pretty underwhelming though. I guess no one's taking too much risk with the design this year.
