New January 2018 Photo Contest (RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG) revisited
The one should go over well, I think it's a winner, most of us should be in a position to play this time around. It's time to go in and blow the dust off of your photo album, grab your favorite cold beverage and look for your most favorite photo of your Monte Carlo.

"Run what you Brung" (revisited)
Submit the VERY BEST picture you have of your Monte Carlo
Do you think you can take on all comers with the one trick photo you always knew that one day would be cool to show off. Well that time is now, you just have to dig for it.
It could be one you took 5 years ago at a car show or other event, you remember the couple of pictures that really struck a chord with you.
So lets see them, and for those of you members who do not submit a photo your really needed to help choose our next winning photo. Please help out your fellow members and review their submissions and when we get to the voting round, help out like you always have done in the past and pull the lever.
The rules are:
New members are encouraged to play as well if you can post a photo your good to go.
*NO photo shopping,
*No 3 month time restriction,
*No 3 month time restriction,
all photo's should be submitted to this thread by Saturday 1/20/2018

Well it has been sometime since I have entered a photo. There were a handful of occasions when it was possible, but most were not as my Monte is still in the shop undergoing the Holley EFI upgrade, new gas tank, lines etc. has been 16 months now since I have drove it, ugh. Hopefully it will be done by mid-March, yeah....

I had to dig through the archives to confirm that I have never submitted this pic for our contests - well, at least not here
This pic was taken way back in September of '09 in beautiful downtown London Ontario. Because of the date, I was never able to submit it in our photo contests. This pic was used in a calendar for the "Monte Carlo Knights" in 2010 - one of 4 calendars that the car has appeared in. The funny thing is that I was never a member of that car club. Somehow I found their site and saw they were making a calendar and accepting Monte pics from anyone - members or not. When I submitted the shot and made the calendar, I found that some members who had paid to be part of the club got a little snarky with me on their forum. I probably would have signed up and paid dues, but I decided these weren't the kind of people I wanted to be friends with and never visited their forum again.
Not ever forum can be as awesome as the Monte Carlo Forum! But I wonder if we have any members here now that were members of that club
