Cool >Welcome `Sean 2 the MCF<

Hi `Sean & Welcome to the Monte Carlo Family
How many miles on your Monte ?
The 3.9L is a great engine, but there isn't to many
mod's for them
Cold Air Induction, Exhaust Mod's, Programer's
You have a rare Monte, the 3.9L was only in the
2006 Monte Carlo, but was used in other
Chevy's like the Malibu & Impala's.
Many were used in Police Cars.

How's life in Tenn ?
Look forward to your future posts.
Explore the MCF & EnJoy
Wish you safe/happy miles in your Monte LT'3
p.s. Sean, have you been a member since 2012 ?

I have 126,000 miles on it. And yea the 3.9 engine is strong but I would love to have an SS. Tennessee is a nice state, growing very fast. Will cold air induction add more HP

Thanks a lot. That was an informational article. Do I have to have a k&n intake or can other brands do a good job as well?

K&N isn't recommended....
As it is an oil based filtering system... That tends to contaminate the MAF (Mass air flow sensor)
But you could get one from CAI... or even Wizard Aire..
