Talking Some show off time with the Headrest Modification

Back in 2021 I was able to get to a U pull type salvage yard and I picked up some items. The best find were the Red Bowtie embroidered headrests. They were faily reasonable too! Posted a few photo's on FB about it and so many people wanted to buy them for around $2.50 shipped that I couldn't believe it. I thought the best thing to do was convert them to fit in my Car. This is what I did. I had to remove the rod loup from both headrests 5th Gen and 6th Gen and then insert the 5th gens into the Bowtie units. Put some window insulation foam in it and it all stuck.

You can see the width difference in those rods

freshly installed I had to use some rubber grommets for the seat belt loup.

the drivers side all ready done

Installed and ready to use

one is installed on the Passenger side

driver side installed.
