Half Bra
Have you all or any seen a Monte wearing half bra?
I didn't want the hood section messing up my new hood as I wait for new bumper. What you guys think of the look lol kinda like a push-up bra :rotfl: https://montecarloforum.com/forum/me...0119-25789.jpg |
Looks cool that way. I have never been fond of them cause the ones I usually see are flopping in the wind while driving. But I imagine they protect the front end.:rolleyes::eek::wtf::cool:

Thanks, but they advertise as protection but tend to cause their own damage, in my case I think bro-n-law got it to hide the bumper as cheaper than the new bumper (faster too)
My new bumper is on order and will take the car over for install, same guy that got me the hood My HP mod was slowed so I decided to fix the looks |
I been half bra for over a week, must admit I thought about telling paint guy to plasti-dip it black

That's very different and I've never seen that before. I am also not a fan of any bras though as they tend to rub the paint and do more damage then what a little stone would. If the bumper is damaged bad thougg this is a nice cover up fix for now for sure!

it does look cool with extra black, and see many new cars coming out with black bumpers ... I can plasti-dip later, or even better I just learned a week ago that there is wrap 60 miles away :) |
IMO a bra looks outdated nowadays. Quality transparent vinyl provides most of the same protection, is dirt cheap, and is virtually invisible.

Google 3m clear bra or search it on amazon. There are obviously a ton of other manufacturers, but they're the only one I've used personally. I'd be careful getting super cheap stuff since you want stuff that isn't going to destroy the paint while it's on there.
It's just clear vinyl that you put over the front end of the car and is virtually invisible. You can make it completely invisible if you end the wrap on body seams, but most people like to do a strip across the front of the hood to help with rock chips (and don't want to pay for a huge sheet of it to cover the whole hood). I did the front end of our Edge for about $100 and it has held up great over the last year. Certainly has collected some minor gouges from hard bugs and rocks, but the paint underneath looks perfect. |
Thanks,
I'll look into it 3M makes good products I will want to protect the new bumper while showing it off |
